How to play Boggle Blitz
Boggle Blitz is a three-minute word hunt on a glowing 4×4 letter grid. Drag your finger or mouse across touching letters — including diagonals — to spell words, or tap letters one by one. Each letter must touch the previous one, and no tile can be reused within a single word. Words must be at least three letters long and appear in the game's word list. Every accepted word scores points and joins your found-words list; each word counts only once, so keep hunting fresh ones until the clock runs out.
Controls
Touch and mouse: drag across adjacent tiles and release to submit, or tap tiles in order — tapping the last tile removes it — then press Submit Word. On keyboard, type letters to extend the word automatically, Backspace removes the last letter, Enter submits, and Esc clears. Start begins the 3:00 countdown; Play Again reshuffles the grid for another run.
Tips & strategy
Chase common endings — -ING, -ED, -ER, -EST — and plurals to multiply finds from a single root. One long word can outscore five short ones, so once you spot a long build, commit to it. Anchor on prefixes like RE-, UN- and PRE- to unlock bigger words. If a corner goes dry, abandon it and start from a fresh tile. Vowels love the middle of the grid, while consonant clusters at the edges often hide the longest words.
Scoring
Word length sets the points: 3–4 letters score 1 point, five letters score 2, six letters score 3, seven letters score 5, and eight or more earn a huge 11. When time expires you will see your final score plus your highest-scoring words. Your session best is tracked above the grid — shuffle the letters and beat it.
