How to play Bomb Squad
Bomb Squad is a memory-under-pressure puzzle. Each round arms a bomb wired with six colored cables. First comes the demo phase: the safe wires light up one after another in a specific order — watch closely, because this order is the only thing standing between you and an explosion. Then the timer starts and it's your turn: cut the wires by tapping them in the exact order you just saw. Finish the sequence before the countdown reaches zero and the bomb is defused; the next round adds another wire to the sequence and the pressure rises.
Controls
Everything is one tap or click. ▶ Start Defusal begins a fresh run at round one. During the demo phase, just watch — the wires highlight themselves. When the timer appears, tap each wire in the remembered order to snip it; a cut wire dims out. ↺ Restart wipes your progress and starts over from round one.
Tips & strategy
Don't try to memorize colors as a list — chunk them into rhythm ("red-blue, pause, green-red-yellow") or hum the pattern to yourself; sound and rhythm stick better than raw visuals. During the demo, point a finger at each wire as it lights up to lock the physical path into muscle memory. Resist the urge to rush once the timer runs: a calm, deliberate order beats frantic tapping, and one wrong cut ends the run instantly. Later rounds shrink your thinking time, so rehearse the first three wires while the last ones are still flashing.
Scoring
Every bomb you fully defuse adds 1 to your Defused score. Cutting a wrong wire or letting the timer expire ends the run immediately — your defused count stands. Your best streak is saved in your browser, so every session is a shot at a new personal record.
