How to play Dino Dash

Dino Dash is an endless neon runner set in a synthwave desert. Your little glow-dino sprints forward on its own — your only job is to keep it alive. Glowing cacti sprout from the sand and pterodactyls swoop overhead; one collision and the dash is over. The longer you survive, the faster the desert rushes by, and the tighter the obstacles stack together.

Controls

Press the up arrow or Space — or tap anywhere — to jump. Hold the down arrow (or press-and-hold on touch) to duck, which also drops you back to the ground faster mid-jump. On phones, a quick tap jumps and a held finger keeps the dino low. There are no other inputs: jump and duck are your whole survival kit.

Tips & strategy

Cacti are always jumped, never ducked — launch early, because tall cacti need a full arc. Pterodactyls fly at three heights: the low ones must be jumped, but mid and high flyers demand a duck instead — guessing wrong is the classic way to die. Chain fast ducks right after landings to slip under a double threat. As speed builds, switch from reacting to predicting: the desert gets ruthless but never unfair, and every obstacle is beatable with the right move.

Scoring

Score is distance in meters, ticking up faster as your speed grows. Survive long enough and you will break speed thresholds that multiply how quickly meters rack up. Your longest dash is saved in your browser as your best — chase it. One life, one desert, no checkpoints.
