How to play Laser Mirrors
Laser Mirrors is a pure optics puzzle. Every level gives you an 8×8 neon grid, a laser emitter glowing on one edge, and one or more target sensors marked in lime. Your job is to route the laser beam into every target. The emitter fires straight, and the beam only turns when it strikes a mirror — so the whole game is about choosing where mirrors go and which way they lean. Press ⚡ Fire Laser at any time to test your layout; if the beam misses or leaves the grid, nothing bad happens, just rearrange and fire again.
Controls
On desktop or mobile, tap or click any grid cell to cycle: empty → / mirror → \ mirror → empty. The emitter's own cell is locked, but every other cell is fair game. ⚡ Fire Laser fires the beam and animates its path. ↺ Clear Mirrors wipes the grid so you can start a layout over. When a level is cleared, the Next Level → button appears to advance.
Tips & strategy
Work backwards from the target: figure out which direction the beam must be travelling when it arrives, then ask what mirror shape and incoming direction produce that turn. A / mirror swaps vertical travel to horizontal (up becomes right, right becomes up), while \ preserves the pairing (up becomes left, right becomes down). Watch for beams that loop forever — the sim cuts them off, which is your cue that a mirror is bouncing the beam back into itself. Later levels hide a target on the beam's path before the big turn, so plan the whole route, not just the endpoint.
Scoring
Each cleared level adds 1 to your Cleared score. There is no timer and no move limit — this is a thinking game, not a twitch game. Your deepest progress (highest level cleared) is saved in your browser, so you can close the tab and pick up where you left off.
