How to play Neon Dungeon Crawl
Neon Dungeon Crawl is a turn-based dungeon crawler set in a glowing neon labyrinth. Every run generates a brand-new 12×13 dungeon with a new layout, new monster positions and new loot. Your goal: find the golden key, then reach the exit door in the far corner. Each move you make is one turn — and every monster gets to move or attack on its own turn, so plan your route.
Controls
On desktop, move with the arrow keys or WASD; press Space to strike an adjacent monster, or simply walk into a monster to bump-attack it. On mobile, use the on-screen D-pad, tap the ⚔️ button to attack, or tap any tile to step one square toward it. Press P to pause.
Tips & strategy
Monsters hit back: bumping a 3-HP brute costs you health every swing, so grab the red 🧪 potions (+4 hearts) before picking fights. Spike traps deal 2 damage the first time you step on them — they stay visible afterwards, so route around them. Gold coins are worth 10 points each and slain monsters drop 5 gold, while escaping fast earns a speed bonus — but a dead hero scores no bonus, so don't rush past full-health monsters when you're low.
Scoring
Score = 10 points per gold coin, plus an escape bonus of up to 400 points that shrinks by 4 for every turn you take. Your best score is saved in your browser and shown in the HUD.
