How to play Neon Fishing
Neon Fishing is a twitchy arcade fishing trip across a glowing lake that changes with the time of day. You get 4 rounds — Dawn, Midday, Dusk and Night — each lasting 45 seconds, and 3 lives. Cast your line, wait for a bite, set the hook, then reel the fish in by stopping the sweeping marker inside the green zone. Miss the zone too often and the fish tears free; worse, the lake's sharks are always circling, and they love stealing hooked fish. Survive all four rounds to win. Your best score saves on the device.
Controls
Cast: press Space (or tap the canvas / the Cast button) to lock the aiming angle, then press again to lock power and cast. Hook-set: when a fish bites and "SET THE HOOK!" flashes, press quickly before the timer bar empties. Reel: press when the white marker sits inside the green zone — dead center earns a PERFECT bonus. Pause: P. Mobile: everything works with taps; the big button below the canvas mirrors every action.
Tips & strategy
Lock your angle slightly toward the deeper water on the right side of the screen — Deepglow fish are worth 120 points and live down there, though they are rarer. Do not mash the reel button: watch two full sweeps of the marker first and learn its rhythm, then press as it enters the zone rather than chasing it. PERFECT presses reel almost twice as fast, so a patient angler lands fish before sharks arrive. Sharks spawn more often in later rounds, so in the Night round land fish fast or not at all. Your combo multiplier grows with consecutive catches, so avoiding a single miss matters more than one risky cast.
Scoring
Neonfin 50, Swiftfin 80, Deepglow 120 — multiplied by your combo: consecutive catches without a miss or a lost fish raise the multiplier up to 4x. A lost fish or a shark theft resets the combo to zero. Cracking 1,500 means you are reeling clean through all four rounds.
