How to play Neon Flood
Neon Flood is a color-conquest puzzle played on a glowing grid. You own the region that starts in the top-left corner, and every move you pick one of six neon colors. Your whole region instantly repaints to that color, and any neighboring cells already wearing that color merge into your territory, growing the flood outward. Chain smart picks and the entire grid melts into a single color — run out of moves first and the flood stalls. Five levels await, each with a fresh grid (12×12, growing to 14×14) and a tighter move budget, so every choice has to pull its weight.
Controls
Click or tap one of the six color buttons beneath the grid — or press 1–6 on your keyboard. Press ▶ Play to begin and ↻ Play Again to restart from the game-over screen. Your best total score is saved in your browser.
Tips & strategy
Count before you commit: the color that touches your region’s border in the most places usually buys the biggest expansion. Never pick your region’s current color — it burns a move for nothing. Early in a level, grab the color that swallows the largest neighboring blob; late in a level, switch to the color that bridges you toward the biggest unclaimed cluster. Watch the flooded meter: if you are below 60% with half your moves gone, plan two moves ahead instead of one and look for the pick that opens two fronts at once.
Scoring
Every unused move at level clear is worth 100 points, plus a level bonus of 250 × level number. Clearing all five levels banks the maximum — your best total score persists across visits, so chase it.
