How to play Neon Grapple
Neon Grapple is a one-button physics swinger in a glowing cyber city. Your neon rider sprints forward on their own — your only job is the grapple. Press and hold anywhere (or hold the spacebar) to fire the hook at the nearest glowing anchor above you. While attached you swing like a pendulum as the rope slowly reels you in. Release to launch through the air with your built-up momentum, then grapple the next anchor to keep flying. Touch the ground and you simply keep running, ready for the next swing.
Controls
On desktop, click and hold the mouse or hold SPACE to fire and hold the grapple; release to let go. On phones and tablets, touch and hold the game area, then lift your finger to release. Press ▶ Play to start, and restart instantly after a crash from the overlay. One input does everything — easy to learn, hard to master.
Laser gates and near misses
Magenta pillars rise from the street — swing high over them. Ceiling beams hang from above — run low beneath them. Threading a gate with barely any clearance earns a +50 near-miss bonus, so brave, tight lines pay off. The city scrolls faster the farther you travel, so every run ends eventually — the question is how far your nerve takes you.
Scoring and tips
Your score is your distance in meters plus every near-miss bonus, with your personal best saved in your browser. Fire early, while anchors are still ahead of you, for the longest swings. Release near the top of the arc for maximum height and distance. Chain swings without touching down to stay fast — and never release a heartbeat too late into a pillar.
