How to play Neon Hoops
Neon Hoops is a flick-shooting skill game played on a glowing midnight court. A neon hoop sways side to side above you while your ball waits at the free-throw line. Drag back anywhere on the court — like pulling a slingshot — and a dotted trail previews your arc; release to launch. Thread the ball clean through the rim for points, and thread it without touching iron for a swish bonus. You get 10 shots per round and must sink at least 5 to advance; the hoop swings faster every round, and clearing round 5 crowns you Hoop Champion.
Controls
Mouse or touch: press and drag back from the ball, watch the dotted preview, release to shoot. Keyboard: ←/→ adjust arc angle, ↑/↓ adjust power, Space shoots. Press ▶ Play to start and ↻ Play Again after a game over. Your best score is saved in your browser.
Tips & strategy
Lead the hoop: aim where the rim is heading, not where it is. Short pulls make soft floaters that drop straight in; long pulls are flat rockets that clang off the iron. Swishes pay +50, so favor high arcs over line drives. On the faster rounds, time your release as the hoop crosses center instead of chasing the edges — the center crossing is the most predictable moment in the swing.
Scoring
Every make is worth 100 + 20 per round, with +50 for a swish. Sink 5 of 10 to move on; fall short and the run ends. Your best score is saved in your browser.
