How to play Neon Lunar Lander
Neon Lunar Lander is a pure physics landing challenge wrapped in glow. You pilot a small neon module high above a jagged alien ridge, and three landing pads blink below you in cyan. The job sounds simple — set down on all three pads — but gravity is real, your fuel is finite, and a landing only counts when it is genuinely soft.
Your thruster fires along the nose of the craft, so rotation is everything. Tilt the module and your thrust pushes you sideways as well as up; stay upright and you get pure braking power against your fall. The golden rule: never let your vertical speed build up. Short, early thrusts are cheap and safe, while one long panicked burn near the ground will drink your tank dry and still end in a crater.
A touchdown counts when you land on a pad with your speed under control — roughly a walking pace vertically, gentle horizontally, and the craft near level. Land sideways or hot and the module crumples into neon sparks. Each successful landing tops up your fuel by 60%, rewarding smooth pilots and punishing sloppy ones. Land on all three pads to win; one crash ends the run.

Landing technique
Watch the velocity readout in the corner: it shows your horizontal and vertical speed. Start braking early — kill horizontal drift first while you are still high, then ride the thruster down in pulses so your descent stays under about 90 units. In the final stretch, get the craft level and directly above the pad; the pads are generous in width, so favor a slow, vertical descent over a dramatic sideways slide.
Scoring
Each successful landing scores up to 1,000 points, with deductions for speed and tilt at touchdown — the gentler the landing, the bigger the score. Land all three pads to bank your total, and your best total is saved in your browser so you can chase a perfect feather-soft run.
