How to play Neon Meteor Storm
Neon Meteor Storm is a dodge-and-collect arcade survival game. You pilot a small neon ship through deep space while a storm of flaming meteors rains down from above. Meteors come in all sizes and drift sideways as they fall, so no two runs play the same. Mixed into the chaos are golden star cores — grab them to score. Every 5 cores in a row raises your combo multiplier (up to ×5), so a single core can be worth 50 points when you are on a hot streak. Taking a meteor hit costs one of your 3 shields and resets your combo to zero.
Controls
- Drag / touch: Your ship follows your finger or mouse — the fastest way to thread tight gaps.
- Arrow keys / WASD: Steer with the keyboard on desktop.
- Restart: Relaunch into a fresh storm at any time.
Tips & strategy
Stay near the lower-middle of the screen so you get maximum warning of incoming meteors, and make small adjustments instead of wild sweeps — over-steering is how combos die. Chase cores only when the path is clear; a 50-point core is not worth a shield. After a hit you get a brief invulnerability shimmer — use it to reposition through a dense cluster. The storm intensifies the longer you survive, so bank your points early while the sky is calm and protect your combo once the multiplier climbs.
Scoring
Each star core is worth 10 points times your combo multiplier (×1 to ×5, rising every 5 consecutive cores). You win at 500 points; you lose when all 3 shields are gone. Your best score is saved on your device.
