How to play Neon Missile Defense
Neon Missile Defense is a sky-defense arcade game. Pink warheads streak down from the top of the screen toward your six glowing cities and your central battery. You defend them by clicking anywhere in the sky: a cyan counter-missile launches from the battery and detonates exactly where you clicked, blooming into a shockwave cloud. Any warhead caught inside the cloud is vaporized — and each destroyed warhead erupts into its own smaller blast, so one well-placed shot can chain through a whole cluster. Ammo is limited per wave, and the waves get faster and denser up to wave 8.
Controls
Click or tap the sky to fire a counter-missile at that point. On keyboard, move the glowing crosshair with the arrow keys and press Space to fire. You cannot fire while a wave-clear screen is up, and you cannot fire if the battery has been destroyed.
Tips & strategy
Don't chase single warheads — aim slightly ahead of a cluster so the shockwave catches several at once, then let the chain blasts do the rest. Warheads aimed at already-destroyed cities can be ignored; protect the cities you have left. Save ammo early: unused missiles pay a 10-point bonus each at the end of the wave, and every surviving city is worth 100. If the battery falls, your remaining ammo is stranded — guard the center.
Scoring
Each vaporized warhead is worth 25 points, minus 10 for every warhead that slips through and hits the ground. End-of-wave bonus: 10 points per unused missile plus 100 per surviving city. Your best total across all 8 waves is saved in your browser.
