How to play Neon Orbit
Neon Orbit is a gravity slingshot puzzle across 8 hand-built levels. Your comet starts at a launch pad, and star shards float in space among planets. Planets pull the comet with real gravity — fly close and your path bends, fly too close and you burn up. Each level gives you a limited number of launches; collect every shard on a level to advance. Shards are worth 100 points each, plus a 50-point bonus per unused launch.
Controls
Press and hold on the comet (or anywhere on the sky), drag back like a slingshot, and release to launch — the dotted line shows your predicted path. Works with mouse and touch. Press R to restart the current level, or use the buttons above the game.
Tips & strategy
Don't aim straight at shards — aim past a planet and let its gravity curve you onto them. The preview line is honest: if it skims a planet's edge, the real flight will too. Gentle launches bend more than fast ones, so use soft pulls when you need tight turns. Save launches by planning multi-shard paths, and never launch into the planet's bright core — that's an instant burn-up.
Scoring
Each star shard is 100 points, and finishing a level banks 50 points per unused launch. Your session best is tracked above the sky. Collect every shard in all 8 levels to complete the game.
