How to play Neon Pinball

Neon Pinball is classic arcade pinball drenched in neon: charge the plunger, launch the ball up the shooter lane, and keep it alive with two flippers while the bumpers rain points. You get 3 balls. Hold Space (or press-and-hold the Charge button) to build plunger power, then release to fire the ball over the top and into play. Work the flippers — Z for left, / for right — to smack the ball back upfield. Let it slip past the flippers and the ball drains; lose all three and the game is over. Every bumper hit scores 100, slingshots pay 50, and your best score is saved on the device.

Controls

Left flipper: Z or the left arrow key. Right flipper: / (slash), period, or the right arrow key. Plunger: hold Space to charge, release to launch — or hold the on-screen Charge button. Mobile: tap the left or right half of the table for the flippers, and use the Charge button to launch. Keyboard focus stays on the page, so the flippers respond instantly.

Tips & strategy

Aim your flipper shots at the three round bumpers in the upper table — they kick the ball away at speed, which keeps it bouncing between them for chained 100s. Do not mash both flippers at once: a controlled single-flipper tap aimed slightly upward-outward gives you the cleanest bumper shots. When the ball is rolling slowly down the middle toward the drain gap, a late flipper tap can still save it — wait until the ball is nearly level with the flipper before firing. Full-power launches send the ball screaming around the top for big early bounces; softer launches drop it gently near the slingshots. Watch the ball, not the score.

Scoring

Bumpers pay 100 points each, slingshots 50. There are no multipliers — pure survival scoring, so long rallies beat lucky bounces. Your best score saves automatically in the browser; cracking 2,000 means you are genuinely keeping the ball alive.
