How to play Neon Pool
Neon Pool is a glowing take on 8-ball pool. Eight neon balls are racked on the table plus your white cue ball. Pot all seven color balls into any of the six pockets first, then sink the black 8-ball to clear the table. Sink the 8-ball before the colors are gone and the game ends instantly. If the cue ball drops into a pocket — a scratch — it respots at the bottom of the table and you eat a one-shot penalty. Every shot counts, and the fewest shots wins.
Controls
Press and drag anywhere: pull back from the cue ball to set direction and power, then release to shoot — the longer the pull, the harder the hit. A dashed neon guide shows your aim line and power. On keyboard, use ←/→ to rotate your aim, ↑/↓ to adjust power, and Space to shoot.
Tips & strategy
Soft shots beat hard ones: gentle taps keep the cue ball near the action for your next shot, while full-power breaks scatter everything. Line up so the cue ball stops near your next target — think one shot ahead. Leave the 8-ball for last and try to leave it near a pocket while you clear the final colors. Watch the cue ball's path after contact: a scratch costs you a shot and position.
Scoring
Your score is your shot count — lower is better. Clearing the table in fewer shots beats a sloppy run every time. Your best (fewest) shot count is saved in your browser.
