How to play Neon Racer
Neon Racer is a top-down lane racer on a glowing night highway. Your neon car sits near the bottom of the road and traffic pours toward you across four lanes. Steer left and right between lanes, survive as long as you can, and score by distance — the real points come from near misses. Squeezing past a car in an adjacent lane without touching it adds to your near-miss combo; touch anything and the run ends. Blue nitro bolts float on the road: drive over one to charge your boost gauge, then trigger nitro for a speed burst that doubles your score rate and makes traffic blur past.
Controls
Press Left/Right arrows or A/D to hop between lanes, and Space to fire your nitro boost. On mobile, tap the left or right half of the road to change lanes, and tap the Nitro button to boost. Start and Restart work from the buttons above or below the game.
Tips & strategy
Keep moving between lanes instead of camping in one — near misses are where combos grow. A combo multiplies each near-miss score, but one touch ends everything, so don't get greedy between two close cars. Save your nitro for moments when several cars stack up ahead; the burst covers distance fast and earns double points while it burns. Traffic gets faster and denser the longer you survive — look far up the road, not at your car.
Scoring
You earn 1 point per meter of distance (2 per meter under nitro) plus 25 × your current near-miss combo for every near miss. The combo resets if you go five seconds without a near miss. Your best score this session is shown above the road.
