NEON TRAFFIC CONTROL

Rush hour on the neon grid! Flip signal lights so one road at a time has green — keep cars flowing through the intersection. Flip lights while cars are still crossing and they'll collide; leave a red queue waiting too long and drivers gridlock in rage. Pass 25 cars to clear rush hour.

Controls: tap a road button (or keys 1–4) to give it the green light — only one road is green at a time · P to pause.

How to play Neon Traffic Control

Neon Traffic Control puts you in the signal booth of a glowing four-way intersection at rush hour. Cars stream in from the north, east, south and west, and you control who moves: tapping a road gives it the only green light on the grid while the other three wait. Your job is to pass 25 cars through the crossing safely. Every time you flip the lights there is a half-second all-red clearance — the previous road's cars need that moment to clear the box, because switching a crossing road to green while a car is still mid-intersection ends in a crunching pile-up and an instant loss.

Controls

On desktop, press 1, 2, 3 or 4 to give the north, east, south or west road the green light; press P to pause. On mobile, tap the four road buttons under the game. Only one road can be green at a time — picking a new one instantly starts the 0.6-second clearance before it turns green, so there is no way to have two greens fighting each other.

Tips & strategy

Watch the queues, not the cars: the road with the longest line and the reddest patience bars is your next green. Patience drains only while a car sits stopped at red, so a flowing road can wait — but never ignore a road with a nearly empty bar. Traffic speeds up the longer you survive, so early cars are your easy points. Count to one before flipping after the last car enters the box; the all-red clearance helps, but only if the intersection is nearly empty when it starts. Letting a road starve to zero patience costs one of your three strikes, but a crash costs everything.

Scoring

Every car that exits the far side of the grid counts toward your 25-car goal and adds 10 points plus a small speed bonus. Losing three drivers to rage-quits ends the shift, and any mid-intersection collision ends it instantly. Your best score is saved in your browser and shown in the HUD.
