How to play Neon Tunnel
Neon Tunnel is an endless one-button flyer set inside a pulsing energy tunnel. Your ship hovers at a fixed position while the tunnel rushes past. Hold any input — Space, the up arrow, the mouse button, or your fingertip — to fire the thrusters and climb; release to let gravity pull you down. Vertical gates of magenta energy sweep toward you, each with a single glowing gap. Thread the gap cleanly and you bank a gate bonus. Clip a gate's edge and you lose one of your three hull hearts, with a brief shield of invulnerability while the ship recovers.
Controls
One input does everything: press and hold to rise, release to fall. Tap-and-hold works with mouse and touch alike, so the game plays identically on phone and desktop. Press P to pause mid-run. The ship handles with smooth momentum — small pulses of thrust give finer control than holding the button down for long stretches.
Tips & strategy
Don't chase the center of the screen — chase the gap. Watch two gates ahead and pick a line early, because the tunnel gets faster with every gate you clear. Feather the thrusters with short taps to hover near the gap's middle instead of bouncing between extremes. After a hit, use your invulnerability window to reposition calmly for the next gate instead of panicking. The energy walls above and below are harmless, so use the full height of the tunnel when the gaps are high or low.
Scoring
Distance earns 1 point per 50 pixels traveled, and every gate threaded cleanly adds a 25-point bonus. Gates keep shrinking as your run continues, so late-run gates are worth the same 25 points but demand far more precision. Your best run is saved in your browser.
