How to play Neon Type Rush
Neon Type Rush turns your keyboard into a weapon. Glowing words rain down from the top of the arena toward your base at the bottom. Type the first letter of any word to lock your crosshair onto it, then type the rest of the word to vaporize it in a burst of sparks. You have 60 seconds and 3 lives: every word that slips past and breaches the base line costs you a life. Vaporize everything, chain your kills, and defend the base until the clock hits zero.
Controls
Just type — every letter key (a–z) is a shot. The game auto-targets the lowest word starting with the letter you press, so you always engage the most urgent threat first. No mouse or touch controls are needed; on touch devices a note reminds you to connect a physical keyboard. Press ▶ Play to start and restart from the game-over screen any time. Your best score is saved in your browser.
Tips & strategy
Accuracy beats raw speed: a wrong key breaks your combo multiplier, and the multiplier (up to ×8) is where the big points live. Always finish the word you locked before starting a new one — switching targets wastes keystrokes. Watch the bottom of the screen: short words fall fast, so snipe the closest threats first and let long words drift while you clear the urgent ones. As the minute wears on, words get longer and fall faster, so stay ahead of the rain early to bank a comfortable lead.
Scoring
Every correct letter scores 5 points; vaporizing a word banks length × 20 × combo — a 7-letter word at ×5 combo is worth 700 points. Each clean kill raises the combo; any wrong key or breached word resets it to ×1. Your personal best, total vaporizations and typing accuracy are shown at the end of every run.
