How to play Tower Defense
Tower Defense is the timeless strategy duel: waves of invaders march along the dirt road from the left toward your base on the right, and your towers are the only thing between them and your 20 lives. Pick a tower type, tap any grass square to build it, then press Start Wave. Towers fire automatically at the nearest enemy in range. Kills earn gold, each cleared wave pays a bonus, and every enemy that reaches the base costs you one life. Survive all 8 waves to win — lose all 20 lives and the base falls.
Controls
Tap a tower button to select it (Gun $50, Cannon $110, Frost $80), then tap a grass square on the map to build. You can build during a wave too — reinforcements mid-fight often save a run. Press Start Wave when your defenses are ready. Everything else is automatic; this is a thinking game, not a clicking game. Fully playable with mouse or touch.
Tips & strategy
Build near corners and S-bends: a tower covering two stretches of road gets double the firing time on every enemy. Open with two or three Gun towers — cheap, fast, and perfect for the weak early waves — then save for a Cannon at the longest straight, where its splash damage hits whole packs. Frost towers deal little damage but slow everything by half, which multiplies the damage of every tower nearby: pair one Frost with two Guns at a bend and watch waves melt. Never spend your last gold before a wave starts — keep a reserve so you can plug a leak mid-wave. Later waves are faster and tougher, so keep building between waves instead of hoarding.
Scoring
There are no points — your lives are the score. Finishing all 8 waves with 15+ lives is a dominant defense; winning with fewer than 5 means the last waves nearly broke you. Gold income scales per wave, so aggressive early building snowballs into an unstoppable late game.
