How to play Tron Cycles
Tron Cycles is a best-of-five neon duel between your cyan light cycle and a magenta CPU rider. The instant the round begins, both cycles race forward at full speed, leaving permanent light trails behind them. Neither bike has brakes — your only weapon is steering. The first cycle to slam into a wall, its own trail, or its rival's trail loses the round. Win three rounds before the CPU does and the duel is yours.
Controls
- Keyboard: Arrow keys or WASD to turn left, right, up or down. You can only make 90-degree turns.
- Touch / mouse: Swipe across the grid in the direction you want to turn.
- Restart: Press R or the Restart button to reset the whole duel at any time.
Tips & strategy
Grab open space early — the rider who controls the biggest empty region usually wins. Trap the CPU by cutting across its nose and sealing off a pocket of the grid; it will happily drive into its own dead end. Beware your own tail on long runs: doubling back into territory you already fenced in is the classic way to throw a won round. Late in a round, hug the arena walls so your trail blocks the CPU's escape lanes, and save one sharp turn as your emergency brake when the walls close in.
Scoring
Each round is worth one point — no style bonuses, no ties broken by time. First to 3 points wins the duel and your win-streak counter climbs by one; losing the duel resets the streak. The duel ends as soon as someone reaches 3, so every round matters equally.
